3" diameter
Clean with a dry cloth
More about the artwork — I moved into a new home in the summer of 2022. As I looked around my new studio space and living areas I felt a wide mix of feelings — one of which was tremendous hope for the creative work I would create in this new space. This piece is the first I painted in this new studio — a reminder that art is generous and healing and rich with possibility. A tear sown with gold, similar to the art of Kintsugi where cracked pottery is mended with gold, this metaphor felt like my reality during this creative process. My broken heart was being mended with paint and the beauty of the horizon. Created as a part of The Horizons Collection.
