A buttery soft, medium weight silk scarf, botanical stained and hand-painted. Flowers, ground roots, leaves, bark, and spices blend together to create color stories
completely unique, magical, natural. The silks are then bundled & put into the steamer, sealing in the pigments and stains. From there I can adjust the hues to make
certain areas darker and moodier, or brighter and more vibrant. It all feels like a conversation with nature and science and my own willingness to experiment.
