Quiet Adventure, II: Peace is no Accident (30x40)
Peace is No Accident was created in the summer of 2020 during a time of global and personal unrest. I was recovering from burnout, juggling too many things, and everything felt a little too loud. Within the noise I went into the studio, turned on the music, said my mantras, and painted. The words “Peace is no accident” kept running through my mind — the need to create sacred spaces and intentionally find calm in the storm.
Let this painting be a constant reminder in your home that Pease is valueble. It is worth seaking. Even when you have to carve quiet out of chaos.
An original oil painting, 30x40x2 inches, natural (and non-toxic) pigment on canvas and framed in a simple maple floater frame.
Oil stained canvas is built layer by layer until a landscape emerges — glowing and complex. This piece is absolutely gorgeous and seems to radiate light and tremendous feelings of peace.
Created as a part of the “Quiet Adventure, II” Collection. Learn more about this collection, the poetry that rooted my process, and the inspiration behind this piece HERE.
